The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra Golden Anniversary Committee celebrated 50 years of harmony through music and art during An Evening of 50 Years of Music at the outdoor setting of Cadobaz, the home of Dr. Farid Naffah, 2747 Cadwallader-Sonk Road, Cortland. The event occurred on August 1, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost was $65 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra. The deadline for reservation was July 24.

Jack Ciarniello is on the faculty of Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music and is the owner of TakeNote Productions. He acknowledges a wide range of musical influences including Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Plant, Albert King, B.B. King, Antonio Vivaldi, Eric Clapton, Duke Ellington and Ludwig van Beethoven, among others.
Rodd Coonce has been performing pretty much his entire life. His repertoire contains songs of Broadway, pop, country, jazz, standards and inspirations. While living in Los Angeles he performed on television, stage and film. After moving back to the area, he produced and starred in Vincent at Powers Auditorium, a one man show where he played Van Gogh and his brother Theo. He is also the founder the star of Music at Madison, a local cabaret, singer's showcase and sing-along. Music at Madison is in its 13th year. He is also the owner of Full Circle Florist and Dorian Books in Youngstown. |
