SPRING IN PARIS!
Explore the French connection with a 17-year-old Bizet who already gives hints of his Carmen to come. Hear Ravel's lushly colorful love story created for Sergei Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes. Journey with Gershwin from French Impressionism to jazz — as he vividly depicts taxi horns, smoky cafés, and falling in love in the City of Light. Fall in love with our littlest string players as they play a surprise piece created for them and the WPO by a Pulitzer prize-winning composer.

Yehudi Wyner: Strings of Joy (new work)
with young soloists from the WPO's 'Strings of Joy' Program
