Spring Concert - Sunday, April 17, 2016

   Swing Into Spring! was the theme for the April 17 concert, with Mighty Casey American rhythms, Ravel's Bolero,  and Beethoven's most exuberant symphony.

    The orchestra performed:
  • Symphony No. 8 in F major by Ludwig van Beethoven​
  • Candide Overture by Leonard Bernstein
  • Casey at the Bat by Ernest Lawrence Thayer, with Jim Tressel, narrator
  • Bolero by Maurice Ravel

    The concert was held at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic Street, NE, Warren, and began at 3 p.m. Refreshments were served after the concert.
